Stop Being Foolish!

Proverbs 28:26 -

“He that trust in his own heart is a fool: but whoever walks wisely, he shall be delivered.”

Praise Yah.

Often times as I listen to this account, I just can’t help but try to rationalize why Sampson would repeatedly entertain a woman that was obviously trying to do him in and was working for the enemy.

At first I just thought he was dumb.

Then I said, he was probably just young.

But this morning as I listened again it occurred to me that WE are no different than Sampson!

Often times we have multiple warnings that are blatant about a person's motives and objectives, yet we give them the “benefit of the doubt.”

Where is there ever benefit in doubt?

Time and time again you will go over in your heart why your behavior is justified, and then when you succumb to demise want to play the victim!

TSK!

Silly sinful humans we are that we should all be thankful that Yah had winked at our ignorance… MANY TIMES!

Before we judge Sampson, let us look at ourselves in where we have yet to be diligent in following the wise Holy Spirit put in place for proper understanding.
