Yah hears you!

Our ancestor David said in Psalm 55:16-17

"As for me, I will call upon the Yah; and the Most High will save me.

Evening, morning, and at noon will I pray and cry out loud: and Yah shall hear my voice."

I can recall many times as a youth and a young adult thinking that no one listens to me, not even Yah.

I was convinced that my words were simply blowing in the wind.

Being surrounded by so much poverty, I convinced myself that it was because Yah didn't hear my cries.

My need to be heard, turned into anger.

So, I stopped talking, small talk and prayer.

That didn't last long as Yah didn't make us to be isolated nor to be separated from him.

Yah orchestrated my steps to where I found myself feeling alone, afraid, and powerless behind my rack (bed) in U.S. Navy bootcamp.

In that moment when I finished reading through Matthew's account, I cried out to Yah, and he answered me!

"I called upon Yah in my distress: Yah answered me and set me in a large place."

Psalm 118:5

At that moment, I knew that not only did Yah hear me, but he heard my mother and grandmother, who both prayed fervently that I would know Yah and the power of his might.

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in Yah and in the power of his might."

Ephesians 6:10

For the first time in my life, I felt heard by The Most High Yah of the universe.

I can't describe how overwhelmingly joyous that assurance gave me and still gives me at this very moment.

I'm also reminded that having the ear of Yah is a privilege that I can fumble if I have unrepentant sin.

"Now we know that Yah does not hear sinners, but if any man is a worshipper of Yah, and does his will, Yah will hear him."

John 9:31

Rest assured that although the world ignores us in every aspect of society,

The Most High Yah hears us!

The host of Heaven also hears us and are moving on Yah's command to preserve, elevate, and sustain us.

Praise Yah!
