Selling ourselves short.

Jeremiah 17:14

"Heal me, O Yah, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise"

Selling ourselves.

That is exactly what we do when entering any type of relationship.

Sure.. we know we are supposed to be humble according to the Bible.

We know that we are supposed to do all these things to ensure that we are being righteous people, being the light, and so on.

Matthew 5:14-16

14 “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

We know that we are supposed to prove a friend.

We know that evil communication corrupts good manners.

All these things we KNOW… yet in still we constantly error in selecting who we should be around and creating a fantasy out of what we THINK will be something when truly you have been warned that this thing will be nothing.

Pridefully we plow on, giving this thing our all while on the other side, “the thing” is demonically draining us of the gifts and talents that are supposed to be saved and preserved for the righteous life.

Do not cast your pearls before swine the Bible tells us.. yet we skip over that and hop right into the mud and pigpen expecting the red-carpet life.

What a shame.

The roadmap and the blueprint have all been provided.

The keys, the golden ticket, the breadcrumbs.. the flat out “way” have all been there for us. We as foolish people CONTINUE to lean toward our own understanding instead of trusting Yah.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Yah with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Yet and still..

Time and time again we are rescued from these situations bearing the heartache and scars from multiple events that we have helped to create that are meant to kill us off.

Acts 17:30-31

And the times of this ignorance Yah winked at; but now commands all men everywhere to repent:

Because he has appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he has ordained; whereof he has given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”

We move on to what?

The NEXT situation.

Comparing that one to the one before.

Maybe the last person you were involved with was a thief, and a liar.

Well, that thief and liar then become your gauge.

You are only on the lookout for the thief and liar offenses.

You let the fact that this new person is a gossip, a glutton, depressed, angry, lives in La La land, secretive, a cheater or whatever!

All the while, you just keep telling yourself, “At least he or she doesn’t steal.”

Right.. but now all these other issues have gone over your head and you failed yourself yet again because you are NOT free!

When you think about it the scenario is like gum on your shoe.

You are continuously dragging these old situations around which doesn’t allow you to see the real picture of where you are in your life and more importantly where Yah is calling you to be.

Put the old things behind you so that you can rightfully be shown a better vantage point concerning where you truly are.

Philippians 3:13-14

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of YAHUAH in the Messiah. “

Whom the son sets free is free indeed.

It is that freedom in YAHUSHA that will allow you to move past the mistakes that you have made, relationship wise or otherwise.

Praise Yah!
