New Life with no jealousy

I was watching tennis recently and a media source decided to make light of something. Something that they spun into the perception of kidding or a joke.

But in reality, it was something else.

Venus Williams competed in the women’s doubles draw with Leylah Fernandez at the 2025 U.S. Open Aug. 30

But her sister Serena Williams who decided to retire decided to draw attention to herself in making a video “jokingly” being dissatisfied with her sister moving forward in taking on a different partner.

Venus too had decided to retire playing doubles but apparently changed her mind.

She can do that!

While the rest of the world watches the video in amusement, it must be recognized as jealousy.

While Serena has decided to retire and possibly be a full-time mother and wife, she should recognize that this is her new path and not look behind at what it is she use to be.

Luke 9:62

And Yahusha said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of Yah.”

Serena Williams is no different. She needs to repent so that she can be brought into the fullness of Yah concerning her new assignment, and stoppers in the looking back!

Psalm 73:26

“My flesh and my heart are failing,: but Yah is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”

Ecclesiasticus 6:33

“If thou love to hear, thou shalt receive understanding: and if thou bow thine ear, thou shalt be wise,

Serena must take up her new assignment and seek Yah for understanding. Her new goals and aspirations in these times supersede her career as an athlete, an icon, or star. Deciding to walk away and tend to her family is indeed a righteous act and should not be discredited. Her skills made her the money, and now it is time for her to understand her new purpose that has actually always been there. Yah knew since before the beginning of time what destiny each one of us holds, and the importance that we could potentially bring to this world. Even through all the multiple distractions, his grace and mercy have the ability to bring purpose back full circle.

Praise Yah.

May we all seek purpose and move forward in what HE truly has for us to do.
